Mr. Fraticelli began his practice as an articling student in the field of commercial litigation at Mercier Leduc. He became a lawyer in 1986 and was made Partner in 1993, having practiced for many years in commercial litigation and business law. As such, he is called upon to intervene in various commercial transactions as to their legal structure, as well as to draft all types of contracts.
He regularly gives counsel to small, medium and large businesses on current commercial affairs, where said businesses need his expertise. He also represents financial institutions within the framework of sureties to be obtained or realized.
Mr. Fraticelli possesses a rare expertise combining his profound knowledge of business law and representations before various tribunals, which make him an exceptional counsel whose sharp reflexes have altogether avoided innumerable difficulties for our clients.
He teaches Civil Procedure, Obligations, Sureties and Bankruptcy at L’École du Barreau du Québec, and has been doing so since 1994. He also teaches Civil Procedure, Sureties and Bankruptcy at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) since 2002.
