Mr. Genest has been a Member of the Quebec Bar since 1999 and joined our law firm at the onset of 2007.  He brings a sound experience acquired in his first years of practice, namely in the fields of Civil and Commercial litigation.

He works mainly with our commercial litigation team.  As such, he represents corporate clients before the principal courts of the Province of Quebec.  He also represents individuals in the fields of commercial litigation, more specifically in matters of contracts, construction law, trademarks and insolvency. Renowned for his efficient argumentation skills, Mr. Genest excels in the settlement of major conflictual cases.

Mindful of establishing privileged relationships with his clients, he serves them to the best of his abilities in matters of claims for late deliveries, in legal actions for breach of contract, as well as in the case of claims regarding manufacturing defects.

Mr. Genest has been involved in various chambers of commerce for nearly a decade, during which time he has developed a wide array of business relations, which is an asset for his clients.
